well thanking everybody who made it possible and memorable for her she had a series of photos and added a caption saying i can’t quite express just how much all of your birthday wishes meant to me yesterday i adore each and every one of them and want you all to know how much i appreciate each of you taking a little time out of your day to think of me i love you all so much may almighty god continue to fuel our hearts with joy happy new month farm the journey of the Iya Ibadansneh into the nollywood that we know today was quite a wonderful one and a touching story she also stated like several other actors and actresses that her father was not in support of her becoming an actress as a father wanted her to be a shoemaker she insisted that she want to be an actress and that would be it. In fact one of our elder brothers also objected to the fact that she wanted to be an actress but today they are all proud of her fortunately her father is late but her elder brother who was subjected to it back then is now one who first asked when is she dropping a next movie in our word she said my dad was never in support he said he didn’t want his daughter to be a theater practitioner and then it wasn’t lucrative he wanted me to go learn a trade shoe making in agbeni then i told him i wasn’t going to learn shoemaking i told him that if he couldn’t help further my education theater is what i was going to do one of my older siblings too was not in support of what i was doing then i was living with him then anytime i went for reasons from school i would come home late and he would discipline me and told me i was too stubborn and i demand on that theater issue he is in the united kingdom today and he is very proud of me now he would call me to ask for my next movie he doesn’t miss them and he tells people around him that he has a sister who movie star unfortunately my father is late now but my mother gave me a full support this was Iya Ibadansneh sharing this and of course may interest you to know that yabardo was born bred and buttered in Ibadan and still currently in Ibadan as some people assume that she resides in lagos well speaking of her childhood she said i had a lovely childhood i enjoyed my childhood so much the thing is i have had this talented me right from childhood and i could remember that i was a member of every cultural troupe right from primary

late now i was able to get in touch with one of his band members and from there i was able to join them for rehearsal even though i had it in mind that i was going to join a theater group i didn’t have anyone to connect me this was around 1987, 88 there was even a time i used to join my friends who were members of a church drama group even though my father was never in support of that i would sneak out to join their rehearsal and join them to act too so as God will have it when i was in secondary school my then boss Ibrahim Jara brought a stage play to my school then there was no video then i was so happy that i decided i was going to watch the drama and that after their performance i would walk up to them and tell them i would like to join their group fortunately someone i know was a member of the group so i told him i would like to join via theater group he invited me to join their next rehearsal out i couldn’t sleep that night i was waiting for the day to break i was in JS1 then so i went to the rehearsal and unfortunately for me they were rehearsing for a play then and their female lead character was asked to beg her husband and sing for him but she couldn’t sing very well that is my area of specialization i sing very well so i volunteered to teach her the song but instead i was asked to replace her and take the rule that was my first time at the rehearsal i took up the role and i sang and everyone was impressed and said a star has come so from then going forward i became part of the group and i played a lot of their lead roles we travel to schools do stage plays dance sing sometimes we treck to performance sometimes we get transport fair sometimes we didn’t even when i wasn’t paid or paid less i was enjoying the adventure because passion was the driving first then so from that group i met with ojopagbogbo’s group and went there to gain more knowledge so from there i started growing, then video came and we were still doing it till today i thank God for how far i have come and quote and yes we thank God for how far Iya Ibadansneh have come she has come a long way and she’s still very much relevant in the industry today well we say a happy belated birthday too Iya Ibadansneh long life and prosperity and guys there you have it do not forget to share and drop your comments in the comment section
